The goal of the "Cleaning Sapanca Lake and Surroundings" event was to raise environmental awareness and contribute to the preservation of Sapanca Lake and its surroundings. It aimed to involve the community, including local and international students, in maintaining the natural beauty of the area while promoting sustainable practices.
As part of the Serdivan Municipality Republic Rowing Cup, ESN Sakarya participated in the "Cleaning Sapanca Lake and Surroundings" event. Volunteers, including ESN members, gathered to clean the lake and its nearby areas, removing litter and promoting environmental responsibility. The event was not only a practical effort to protect the environment but also a meaningful opportunity for students to work together, connect with the local community, and make a positive impact on the ecosystem.
