The aim of the event was to bring international students and the local community together to remove litter and pollutants, to promote environmental conservation and to foster civic responsibility. The goal of the event was also to raise awareness about the impact of pollution, to educate participants on sustainable practices and to create a positive, tangible impact on the environment and on the individuals who cooperated together.
The event consisted of a morning cleanup of one of the city's largest parks.
The international students were led by volunteers from ESN and other participating environmental and student organisations to clean up the park and its surroundings.
The students collected and sorted the rubbish in the park, were informed by the volunteers about the impact of waste on the environment, and worked together with local individuals to give the collected rubbish a new life and to clean the green areas together.
