For internationals to get to know the mayor at the new beautiful city town hall of Hasselt. The mayor will bring out a speech, we toast on Jenever since Hasselt is the city of jenever (gin). Next to get to know the city as there will be a guided city tour. Last but not least to will meet up with another Belgian student association in our karaoke bar.
The city of Hasselt officially welcomes the international students of Hasselt and Diepenbeek to the town hall 't Scheep. Get to know each other better over a real Hasselt beverage. The mayor or alderman will also be present to toast with you. Then we start with guided tours through the center of Hasselt where you will receive a lot of fun facts and practical information. We'll end the evening with free karaoke at our partner cafe Nocturna where there will be another typical Belgian student association present so the internationals can get in touch with Belgians.
