The objective of the activity was to follow a traditional path linked to the local culture of palermo, at the same time taking a walk in the open air and collecting the waste encountered along the way.
Follow traditions, walk in the open ari and do physical activity and leave a tangible impact after the event: having cleaned up the path from abandoned rubbish.
Appointment on the slopes of monte pellegrino to follow the local characteristic ascent of the mountain up to the top(through a very simple walking route) where the sanctuary of Santa rosalia is located.
The purpose of the activity was to enjoy the walk, to do physical activity in the open air and to collect all the abandoned rubbish encountered along the way.
The volunteers equipped with bags, gloves and comfortable shoes faced the path by completely cleaning it, in order to make it usable and clean for the entire citizenry.
Once at the top, the event ended with a group photo and thanks from the organizing organisations.
