The primary aim of this initiative was to strengthen interpersonal connections among our members and foster a sense of belonging and mutual support within the association. The main objectives were:
- To build trust and understanding among participants by sharing experiences in a non-work-related context.
- To promote self-reflection and personal growth through deep conversations and group dynamics.
- To encourage teamwork and collaboration through engaging outdoor activities.
To foster a positive and supportive environment where everyone felt valued and appreciated.
On December 1st, the volunteers took part in a teambuilding event that aimed to strengthen our bond through teamwork and meaningful conversations. The day began with secret clues that guided us to several meeting points across the city. At each stop, we faced team challenges that required collaboration and problem-solving.
Once all the tasks were completed, we unlocked the final meeting point — a spot in the mountains. We reached it together by public transport, eager to continue the activities. Once there, we established one key rule for the day: no talking about ESN. This helped us focus on connecting with each other on a personal level.
We kicked things off with some trust-building games, followed by a round of Werewolf, which helped to break the ice and create a relaxed atmosphere.
After the initial activities, we split into smaller groups and took a scenic walk through the area. During this route, we asked each other deep and reflective questions, helping us learn more about one another. The walk led us to a beautiful viewpoint, where we all gathered to enjoy lunch together.
Following lunch, we held an appreciation round. Each person received positive feedback and thoughtful words, both written and verbal, from the group. It was a meaningful way to wrap up the event.
At the end of the day, we headed back home together, feeling more connected, motivated, and ready to keep working as a team.
