Goal of the Activity
A tour of Scampia aimed at redeveloping the neighborhood, to help Erasmus students discover that Scampia is more than just Gomorrah.
Description
The city tour begins at the Scampia subway station, a key hub for the entire neighborhood's redevelopment. The day continues with a visit to the murals depicting some of the most important media and social figures in Naples' contemporary history, before visiting the famous "Vele" (Sails) and learning about their history. The city tour concludes with a visit to the memorial to Ciro Esposito, who died in an ambush by Roma football fans, to whom the association is dedicated.
