Goal of the Activity

The objective of this event is to raise awareness about the environmental impact of plastic waste and promote sustainable practices by organizing a plastic-free collection day.

Collaborating with Erasmus students in a community-driven initiative fosters a sense of belonging and integration. It allows for cultural exchange and mutual learning as participants from different countries come together to address a common environmental concern. By working side by side with local residents, Erasmus students can forge meaningful connections and contribute positively to the host community.

We proposed this important day for our city to the Erasmus students since they come from diverse cultural backgrounds and can bring fresh perspectives on sustainability. Involving them in this event can help raise awareness about the environmental impact of plastic waste not only within the local community but also among the students themselves. It provides an opportunity to educate them about sustainable practices and inspire them to carry these principles back to their home countries.

Description

NATIONAL SPRING CLEAN DAY🌱💐
This SUNDAY ESN goes to Foro Italico with Plasticfree. 🌱🐢
A national italian appointment to clean up our cities♻️
In 2021 Plastic Free  had 780 volunteers so this year we want to help them  to do better and break the previous record!
It’s going to be a big event followed by Radio Time and in collaboration with veterinarians, accountants, lawyers from our country
Get ready to help locals in this big initiative!

Engaging in this event will allow you to connect with the local community on a deeper level, forging friendships and exchanging cultural experiences. By participating, you'll not only contribute to the environmental well-being of your host city but also leave a positive impression of Erasmus students as proactive and environmentally conscious individuals.

Throughout the day, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside locals sharing your own unique perspectives on sustainability. You'll not only be contributing to a cleaner environment but also forging connections, fostering cultural exchange, and leaving a positive legacy in your host city. Together, we can show the world the power of collaboration and inspire others to take action for a more sustainable future.

Your presence and active participation will make a difference, and the memories and friendships you'll form will last a lifetime.
