Goal of the Activity
  1. Deepening Understanding of ESN: MentorCamp offers participants a comprehensive understanding of the structure, mission, vision, and causes of ESN, laying the foundation for active involvement and contribution to the organisation's goals.
  2. Inspiring Leadership and Responsibility: Through engaging sessions and workshops, MentorCamp inspires participants to embrace leadership roles within ESN, motivating them to take on more responsibilities and actively contribute to the organisation's mission.
  3. Exploring ESN Opportunities: The "Opportunities in ESN" session introduces participants to various events and programmes within ESN, empowering them to explore diverse opportunities for personal and professional development within the organisation.
  4. Building Practical Skills: A diverse range of workshops, including Team Cohesion, How to CV, Skills in ESN, Mock Interviews, and How to prevent Burnout equips participants with practical skills essential for personal and professional growth within and beyond ESN.
  5. Fostering Sustainability and Collaboration: MentorCamp raises awareness of sustainability issues and empowers ESNers to contribute to sustainability efforts within their sections and beyond, one of the ways we do that is our How to combat eco-anxiety workshop. Additionally, it facilitates interactions between the National Board of ESN Hungary and local sections, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
  6. Creating Memorable Experiences: Themed activities, costumes, and decorations immerse participants in an interactive and memorable experience, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the ESN network.

MentorCamp 2024 Spring was an enriching event designed to empower participants and cultivate a culture of growth and collaboration within the ESN ELTE community. Throughout the weekend, attendees engaged in a diverse array of workshops and activities, each aimed at equipping them with valuable skills, fostering personal development, and promoting a sense of connection and belonging.

From practical sessions on "How to CV" and "Mock Interviews" to insightful discussions on "Culture Shock" and "Eco-Anxiety," participants delved into topics relevant to their personal and professional journeys. Workshops on "Leadership" and "Team Development" provided opportunities for reflection and skill-building, while sessions on "Mobilites+" and "Mobility Skills" inspired individuals to explore international opportunities and expand their horizons.

The event also placed a strong emphasis on well-being and self-care, with workshops on "Meditation" and "Burnout" offering strategies for managing stress and maintaining balance in both personal and professional life. Additionally, the "Skills in ESN" session provided participants with valuable insights into the role of soft skills and leadership within the organisation, empowering them to make meaningful contributions to their local section and beyond.

Amidst the learning and skill-building, MentorCamp 2024 Spring also fostered a sense of community and fun. Participants had the opportunity to connect with peers, mentors, and alumni, forging lasting connections and sharing experiences that would inspire and support them on their journey within ESN.
