The purpose of the trip to Kraków was to show participants, in particular international students, the cultural heritage of the former capital of Poland. Participants had the chance to see historical monuments, beautiful urban views and have a glimpse of unique gastronomic venues.
The trip to Krakow was an unforgettable combination of history, culture and fun. Participants began their journey with a tour of the old town, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Wawel Castle, and a rest on Krakow's meadows. In the evening, all those wishing to do so went on a leisurely cruise on the Vistula, from where they could admire the night landscape of Krakow.
During the three-day trip, the participants did a lot of sightseeing. They also visited St. Mary's Basilica, Ojców National Park, the historic Cloth Hall, and a fire-breathing dragon created a huge sensation. Other highlights included the Kazimierz district, known for its vibrant Jewish heritage, art galleries and cozy cafes. Participants were enthralled by the beauty of the city, its long history and the delicious food they had the opportunity to sample on site.
