Information was also given about how polluting the textile industry is and what more sustainable alternatives exist, generating a wave of awareness about how many better choices we can make and have at our disposal.
In addition, themes such as Circular Economy, Fashion Value Chain, and, finally, what is To-Be-Green, how it came about, and what is the goal of
this initiative was also discussed.
This session helped us to understand more about the concept of "greenwashing", and how it goes beyond the materials we used, what we
can do to fight it and also understand it our nowadays.
Was a really important way to think a little more about our choices and how we can make a difference in something so simple as our wardrobe.
