Goal of the Activity

The goal of the activity is to raise awareness on three topics related to the Green Erasmus project - in our case related to the local community: reduction of wasterecycling and second-hand awareness, and correct sorting of waste.

Description

During the six instalments of the project, we carried out a series of interactive activities to involve our young audience (puilps from kindergarten to middle school) with an empirical approach, therefore starting with a practical activity ending up educating them with notions.

We started building toys using objects that would have otherwise been thrown in the trash, moving on to useful tools, ending with suggestions on how to reduce wasterecycling when possible and performing the correct waste sorting.

All of these tasks have been supervised by a member of the local section of the local environment association Plastic free.

As for the international students, their involvement has been focused on the engagement with the pupils by showing them the toys they typically have in their Countries and on how the waste sorting works in their Countries and what they do, as students abroad, to reduce waste during their exchange.
