Every second Sunday of each month a huge flea market takes place in Torino, the Gran Balon. Our goal was to make the Erasmus students get in touch with this important and multicultural part of our city's identity and promote responsible consumption, since everything there is second-hand.
We wanted them to discover the area in a more engaging and interactive way so we created a small and special treasure hunt!
We divided our students into couples (groups of two people) and we gave them ten different tasks which were mainly specific vintage objects or places that they had to find in the Gran Balon in order to win the treasure hunt. The group that finished first won the prizes which were two packs of gianduiotti (a special and typical kind of chocolate from Turin).
