To make international students discover the Mont-Saint-Michel, its surrounding bay, its tidal island, its town and its historical abbey.
Because of its unique architecture and importance as a Catholical site, the Mont-Saint-Michel, located at the border between Brittany (Bretagne) and Normandy, and its bay, are inscribed on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
The international students, accompanied by ESN staff members, meet at the University and get on a bus to reach the Mont-Saint-Michel.
After parking, the students reach the island by walking, enjoying the marvellous landscapes. After taking a group picture, they are allowed to freely roam around the small village, built in the rock. They are invited to first visit the abbaye and then roam through the, sometimes, tiny an mysterious streets of the Mont.
