Goal of the Activity

The goal of an Arabo-Norman tour in Palermo is to provide an immersive experience that highlights the unique historical and cultural synthesis that took place in the city during this remarkable period, offering visitors a profound appreciation for the diverse heritage of Palermo.

Description

A cultural journey among the UNESCO heritage monuments in Palermo city.
The goal of an Arabo-Norman tour in Palermo is to explore and appreciate the rich cultural heritage left behind by the Arab and Norman rulers who once occupied the city. The tour aims to provide visitors with a deeper understanding of the historical and architectural influences of these two civilizations on Palermo's art, architecture, and urban development.

During the tour, visitors explored iconic landmarks such as the Palermo Cathedral, which combines elements of both Arab and Norman architecture.

We got the chance to visit: Palermo Cathedral, San Giovanni degli Eremiti, Church of the Holy Trinity(La Magione), Church of Santa Maria dell'Ammiraglio etc
