The goal of the event was to enhance the artistic and cultural heritage. We introduces to International students to the history of our region and city by granting them access to the main museums in Palermo, which house artworks that allow a complete reconstruction of the historical and cultural evolution of Sicily.
We visited the Regional Gallery of Sicily "Palazzo Abatellis," which houses artworks that allow us to explore the artistic evolution of Sicilian masters. In the gallery, we admired the paintings by important artists from our land.
Upon leaving the museum, we headed to the Vintage Market in Piazza Marina, which was a true journey into the past due to the various antique objects related to both rural Sicily and the post-war era.
After a quick lunch featuring Sicilian food, we went to see the Chiaramonte Palace, with its iconic Norman style. Inside, we visited the cells of the Inquisition, where the prisoners' graffiti can still be found.
To conclude this beautiful day, we visited the Modern Art Gallery, where we admired Sicilian paintings.
