To introduce our city and community to incoming international exchange students in a fun, interactive way.
During our Welcome Days, on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 we held the city tour of Pescara.
Despite it being October, the weather was sunny and warm, which made the event even more enjoyable.
Our meeting point was in Piazza Garibaldi at 3PM. That’s where we began our walk, stopping in front of the most relevant places of our city: D’Annunzio’s house, the City Hall, Ponte del Mare, Piazza Salotto and Nave di Cascella. We shared a brief history of each of these places at the beginning of every stop, followed by different games we had planned to make everything more fun and interactive.
The aim of this event was to allow the Erasmus to get to know this city better, to share information about our culture, to strengthen our bond with them and most of all to have fun.
The feedback given to us by the participants was very positive overall: we gathered about 40 participants for this event, which allowed us to organize things more easily and and do every activity on time. The event ended at 6:15PM.
