Foster friendship between internationals and ESN volunteers from Braunschweig and Hildesheim by having a fun and relaxed day outside.
ESN Braunschweig organised an event for volunteers and internationals from ESN sections in Hildesheim and Braunschweig. The goal was to show parts of Braunschweig to our neighbouring internationals and to have a team building event for the ESN teams of both sections. The day started off with a city tour around Braunschweig for the volunteers of ESN Hildesheim while internationals from both cities (10 Hi, 10 BS) went on a two-hour canoe trip. Canoeing is a great experience in Braunschweig because the city center is surrounded by a river ring which flows through various parks. Seeing the city from the water on a warm and sunny day is always a good experience. Afterwards, the ESN volunteers met in a park close to the river to play some Swedish Kubb (Wikingerschach), get to know each other, and have a picknick.
