The goal of the activity was to raise awareness about Autism on the Autism Awareness Day
Description
ESN Milano-Bicocca volunteers and the Communication Manager created some explainatories stories to post on @esnmilanobicocca Instagram profile
- The first story explained what is Autism and its symptoms.
- The following stories were interactive with some pools: some stereotypes about people with Autism were presented (Every person with autism is the same, Autism can be cured, People with Autism are introverts and don't want to socialize) and viewers needed to choose the correct answer or decide if the statement presented in the story was true or false.
- Finally, the last story aimed to emphasize acceptance, understanding, and inclusion for individuals with Autism in our communities as breaking down myths about Autism is essential for building a more inclusive and understanding society.
