Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to introduce the local students to the Finnish and local culture via weekly themed challenges that were announced each Monday on our Instagram account and Facebook.
Description
Each week a new topic was announced (Winter Sports,Joensuu Local Gems, Finnish cuisine, Outdoors and Wildlife, Arts & Culture) and we asked students to take pictures doing one of the themed activities and then send that picture to us or post it publicly in their Instagram account with the #ESNJoensuu. At the end of each week, there was one themed prize that was raffled among the participants.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
