The main goal of this weekend was to allow our Erasmus students to discover the culture, landscapes and folklore of Lille and, on a more general level, France. This trip was also meant for them to get to know each other better and to build stronger relationships with each other and with us.
SATURDAY: we started our day by taking the bus right to the hotel where we left our luggage to the left-luggage. Then, we split up into groups of Erasmus and team members and started a city tour. Each ESN member had a paper with information to give in front of key locations, and the Erasmus students had a paper with questions to answer. The team with the most points got a reward. Then we had some free time in the city to go and eat where we wanted, and we gave everyone an appointment in front of the second activity of the day : the Palais des Beaux-Arts de Lille. After we had some free time, then we ate in a local restaurant. After the restaurant, we went back to the hostel, spent some time all together in the hotel before heading to a party in a well-known place in Lille.
SUNDAY : we started the day with a very good breakfast at the hotel, checked out and had free time until noon when we all met for a fry. After that, we went to a well-known square in Lille to begin an original activity: a giant escape game in the city. This challenging activity allowed us to strengthen our bonds with each other and discover hidden places in the city. At the end of the game, we all met to come back to the bus which drove us back to Liège.
The price included : bus, hotel (W/ breakfast), restaurant of the first night (food and drinks), city tour, fries (with a drink), entry to the party, entry to the museum, the treasure hunt.
