Goal of the Activity

Visit Volos city, Meteora hills and Pilio mountain. In this cultural trip, we explored the natural beauty and experienced the local lifestyle by tasting traditional dishes and beverages.

Hello Erasmus people! 

After having so much fun in Mykonooos, it is time for our second trip.

ESN Athens AUEB proudly presents to you the:

 

 VOLOS-PILIO-METEORA trip 

 

WHEN? 19th of November to 21nd of November (19-21/11)

But what about the place we are visiting?

 

 DAY 1

We will visit one of the highlights of the trip..METEORA

 METEORA is the famous landscape with the astonishing rock mountains and the Greek Orthodox monasteries on their tops.

After that, we will go to VOLOS.
VOLOS will be our host city, where our nights will be looong! 
Volos is also called the Land of Tsipouro (a very famous local spirit) so get ready to experience the local nightout for tsipouro and meze!

 

 DAY 2

The second day we will have a special daytrip at PILION

The price includes an 1,5h AMAZING trip, just for us, with the traditional Pilion Railway that passes throught mountains, cliffs and offers unique views and an unbelievable experience.

And then we will visit some more traditional villages, to rest and have a lunch in the nature .

In the evening we will get back to the city to relax at our hotel and get ready for PARTYYYY!

 

 DAY 3

On our last day we will have the opportunity to see the city of Volos, enjoy the sun right next to the sea  and unfortunately start our way back to Athens!

This trip will provide you with a unique chance to travel through the Greek mainland and visit places that are not so mainstream for foreigners, but hold an original Greek style and way of life! Plus visiting Meteora, one of the most popular landscapes of Greece !

So you would NEVER want to MISS a TRIP like this !!!

 ATTENTION 
You will have successfully reserved your place for the trip only when you complete the payment.
In order to pay for the trip you have to come to our office Evelpidon Str. 29, 1st floor.

REGISTRATION IS NEEDED FIRST !
And as always PLACES ARE LIMITED !!!
So First comes First served !!! 

 

REFUND POLICY:
In case of someone not being able to attend the trip you can cancel your spot and get a full refund until Friday 12th of November.
After this date NO refunds will be possible due to the payments in advance that need to be done for the hotel and busses.

 

 In order to participate in the trip it is mandatory that you have at least one of the following documents :
1) A Certificate of Vaccination (14 days have elapsed since the last needed dose),
2) A Certificate of Recovery (issued 30 days after the day of the first positive COVID-19 test, valid for 180 days after it) or
3) A PCR/Rapid test (no longer than 48 hours before the trip)

The above are required and will be checked thoroughly before the beginning of the trip.
