Our goal was to show our Erasmus students the beaut, ful neighbourhoods and landmarks in Üsküdar such as Kuzguncuk and the Beylerbeyi Palace. We wanted to give our Erasmus students and ESN volunteers a chance to expand their network as we built a better team relationship between us and ESN Nisantasi. We aimed to foster a good place for friendships and intercultural dialouges between our Erasmus students and wanted to provide them with more information on Türkiye's history and culture.
We met up with our Erasmus students and those from ESN Nişantaşı and ESN Isik at a designated spot in Üsküdar to gather everyone together before starting our walk through the beautiful streets of the district. Once everyone had arrived, we began our tour with a visit to Beylerbeyi Palace. We provided our students with historical insights about the palace, which is situated right next to the Bosphorus, before taking time to appreciate the mesmerizing gardens and stunning architecture. It was a great opportunity for everyone to bond and engage with the rich history of the location. We took a group photo in front of the palace, capturing the moment and the beautiful backdrop.
After leaving the palace, we made our way to our next destination, Kuzguncuk, a charming neighborhood known for its colorful houses, cozy cafes, and inviting eateries. As we walked, we enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and took several stops to admire the quaint streets and take more photos together. The teamwork and collaboration among everyone were evident, making the experience even more enjoyable. By the time we reached Kuzguncuk, the group had become more connected, sharing stories and laughter along the way. It was a nice day of exploration and camaraderie, leaving everyone with cherished memories of our time in Üsküdar.
