Goal of the Activity

The goal of the 'Urlatoarea Waterfall & Cantacuzino Castle Visit' activity was to offer Erasmus students an immersive cultural and natural experience, allowing them to explore the beauty of Romania's landscapes and historical landmarks. By visiting the Urlatoarea Waterfall, participants had the chance to connect with nature, engaging in outdoor exploration. The visit of Cantacuzino Castle provided insights into Romania's rich history and architectural heritage, encouraging cross-cultural exchange and dialogue among students.

Description

The day began with a train ride from Brasov to Busteni, where the group embarked on an one hour-long hike to reach the Urlatoarea Waterfall. Along the trail, we livened up the journey with some interactive games, encouraging everyone to have a good time and enhance in the intercultural dialogues. Upon reaching the waterfall, we had the opportunity to take some photos, admire the beauty of the natural surroundings, and take a break after the hike. Afterwards, we made our way down the mountain and headed straight to the Cantacuzino Castle. There, we explored the castle grounds, admiring its architecture and learning about its historical significance.
