The webinar is part of the webinar series: Understanding Agenda 2030 - Only one decade left. This series digs into the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals during the spring 2021. The Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals are reaching for a peaceful and prosperous future for both people and the planet. They call for urgent action and cooperation globally, between developed and developing countries to end poverty and hunger, ensure economic growth and tackle climate change. The Agenda 2030 was set in the UN Sustainable Development Summit 2015 and adopted by all the United Nations member countries.
The main focus of the project is the SDG and Agenda 2030, with the objective of raising the awareness of the citizens and also making the information more accessible to them. We believe that, in order to achieve these goals, the main challenge is to reach the people and to create an impact on the individual level, so they can implement the lessons learned at their day to day. We have observed that people (common citizens, students, etc.) perceive information related to SDG in an unclear and a confused way. That is why we want to offer an easy and an interactive program that outlines the framework of Agenda 2030.
In this third webinar we concentrate on the Sustainable Development Goal “sustainable economic growth and decent work”. We Debate with the speaker the main topics like gender equality, starting your working life and leading position, sustainable production & circular economy.
