The main objective was to introduce the international students to two beautiful places in Tuscany: Pitigliano and the Terme di Saturnia. The first is an ancient village rich in history, the second a place where you are amazed by the extraordinary nature. Another objective was to spend moments of relaxation and well-being at the natural pools, taking advantage of the benefits of thermal water.
Moreover, we wanted to encourage socialization among the students, being the first semester trip, an activity included in the welcome week.
We spent the morning in Pitigliano and the afternoon at Terme di Saturnia. In Pitigliano, we made a city tour and we included an optional activity, a visit to the Museum "Little Jerusalem".
After a packed lunch in Pitigliano, we moved to the “Cascate del Mulino”, also known as Terme di Saturnia. Here the participants took a bath in the thermal waters, taking advantage of all the benefits that they bring.
