The goal of the Trip to Nida event is to offer ESN LSMU and LSMU Erasmus students an enriching and enjoyable weekend getaway to the Curonian Spit and Klaipėda. The event aims to provide participants with opportunities to explore beautiful natural landscapes, historical sites, and cultural landmarks while fostering social interaction and community building among students.
TRIP TO NIDA 🌊
Come explore the Curonian Spit, the westernmost point of Lithuania and the beautiful city of Klaipėda! 🏖️ There are beautiful sights and historical importance waiting to be discovered! 🏰✨
SCHEDULE
Saturday:
We will leave Kaunas by bus 🚌 at 9am sharp ⏰ and travel to Nida. The first day will be spent exploring Juodkrantė, Nida, and enjoying the sea. 🌊🏞️ In the evening, we will return to Klaipėda and stay overnight. 🌙
Sunday:
At 10:30, we will have a guided tour around Klaipėda for approximately 1.5-2 hours 🕥, after which you will have free time until we have lunch at 2pm. 🍽️
You will have the opportunity to visit:
-Witches' Hill
-Thomas Mann Homestead
-The ethnographic cemetery
-The Dead Dunes
-The Parnidis Clock
-The Amber Museum
-Klaipėda's old town.
The cost will cover: transportation, accommodation, and breakfast on Sunday. 🚌🏨🍳 Please ensure to bring some extra snacks for the journey. 🍎🥨 Securing your spot requires both registration and payment.
