Goal of the Activity

Croatia is known for its beautiful coast, but there are truly a lot of hidden parts in the hinterland, which we wanted to show to our incoming students. The promotion of places less visited by tourists is also welcome, especially considering the growing trend of tourism in our beautiful country.

Description

We took our students to several hidden gems of our beautiful Dalmatian region!

We started the trip by visiting Cetina River Spring, a breathtaking natural spring beyond the Orthodox chapel, also known as the most popular eye on Instagram (Cetina River Spring). There we chilled a little bit and enjoyed the sun!

Afterwards we checked where the river Krka, after which the National Park Krka got its name, starts to flow. Its spring is close to the historic town of Knin in Dalmatia under the fascinating 22-meter high waterfall called Krčić. The autumn and early winter represent the best season for visit, because the waterfall Krčić dries out in summertime.

At the end we climbed up to the oldest fortress in Croatia, the fortress of Knin!
