Visiting the Castello del Monte and the city of Trani.
Description
The trip had the good fortune of introducing the Erasmus to beautiful Trani, a gem set along the splendid coast of Apulia where, strolling along the seafront, it was possible to admire the fishing boats gently rocking on the water, breathing in the salty air that carries with it the scent of adventure and history. And above all, Castel del Monte, a UNESCO World Heritage site, one of the most fascinating architectural wonders in the world. This castle, built in the 12th century at the behest of Frederick II of Swabia, is an extraordinary example of medieval and Renaissance architecture. Its unique octagonal shape and panoramic location make it a truly impressive place to visit.
