Description

Our teambuilding is held regularly once per semester to strengthen the team spirit, get to know the team and motivate the members in active engagement in the life of our organization.  We came to our cottage in the Beskydy mountains on Friday afternoon. We started on Friday with teambuilding activities. These activities helped us get to know each other better and learn about our interests.

Saturday morning we went for a walk, and then we played outdoor volleyball. After refreshing our heads in the fresh air, the workshops and small sessions time came. At first, our former President of ESN VŠB-TU Ostrava Toník Husovský focused mainly on his experience in our Section. He shared with others what he learned, the benefits he gained and the challenges he overcame in the ESN. Some of the positive attributes of ESN that Tonik highlighted include: Soft skills, Time management:, Representation in the network and Friends. Then, our other former ESN chairman, Martin Václavík, gave a workshop on "How to ask for help?". This workshop focused on effective ways to ask for help from other team members (How yes?/ How no?). Finally, our former ESN Chair Veronika Breuerová gave a workshop on "Time of the past" ESN. Veronika Breuerová, our oldest president present at Teambuilding, shared with us her experience of how the section functioned in the past, commenting on the changes and elements that have been maintained.

On Saturday evening, we played board games which are very popular in our section. That’s why we have several of them in our office. International students also love them.

On Sunday,  after leaving the cottage, there was an optional hike in the fresh and beautiful nature of the Beskydy mountains.
