The goal of this activity was to newly discover the cultural&natural heritage of our continent. The platform Kahoot offered us the opportunity to fully display the european culture in a playful context - a context which helps, also the less curious among us, to light up interest in our history. Thanks to zoom this activity made space for long discussions all around the topic. Finally the goal was also to accompany our international students through the lockdown period, giving them a place for discussion, confrontation and fun.
This event was one of five weekly editions of our quiz nights. The period of activity was from (and including) 15th of April 2020 to 13th of May 2020.
We used this event to fill the emptiness of the lockdown period and it was our first experience with online activites. Every quiz was organised like follows:
- 5 different rounds each of 10 questions
- The organisers shared the screen with the questions on it
- Between each round there was a break for discussion
This specific edition was divided like follows:
- Round 1: Paintings and sculptures - art
- Round 2: European Architecture - architecture
- Round 3: Cities, Villages and more - geography
- Round 4: Naturally european - nature
- Round 5: European Culture - food, traditions and more
