Goal of the Activity

To make the deaf community, its culture and language visible to a deaf person and to explain how to treat these people. To encourage interaction between international students and hearing impaired people.
To learn basic expressions in Spanish Sign Language (LSE) and its dactylological alphabet.

Description

A deaf person tells both volunteers and international students how to act in certain day-to-day situations with a hearing impaired person, what their life is like every day, what their culture is like today and what it was like years ago. This person will respond in Spanish Sign Language to the questions of the international students.
Then, she will teach them the alphabet and some basic and useful expressions in Spanish Sign Language.
