Goal of the Activity

With the visit of the observatory in Radebeul we aimed to show and teach international students more about astronomy and related fields, which they might not study themselves and have not had any contact with before, and also take them to a region in Dresden they might not have been to before.

The presentation about the current night sky explained how to spot certain constellations and also explained how stars can be used for orientation. An educational movie gave insight in current fields of study of the European space agency and explained how everything we know about the universe now, was discovered.

Description

Star gazing and telling someone about the night sky can be quite romantic and fascinating...
if you have the knowledge for that!

Let’s visit the star and night sky observatoy in Radebeul and learn what you can spot in the current night sky together!
