The visit to Sazova Science, Culture, and Art Park was organized to provide Erasmus students with a deeper understanding of Turkish culture and the local heritage of Eskisehir. The event began on a sunny day at 11:00 AM, where students gathered to explore the park.
The first stop was the Science park, where students examined the miniature models of traditional Turkish houses, household items, and musical instruments. These traditional Turkish items and houses were quite intriguing to the students, and they took many photos to capture the moment.
Next, we visited the Fairytale Castle, which has become a symbol of Eskisehir. Students who wanted to enter the castle experienced its enchanting atmosphere, gaining insight into the local culture. Later, we enjoyed cibörek, a traditional dish from Eskisehir, enriching our cultural experience.
At the end of the day, we spent some relaxing time by the lake in Sazova Park, sitting on the grass and enjoying the sunny weather. This event promoted social inclusion and cultural sharing among the students, allowing them to connect with both the local culture and each other. By interacting with the community and exploring significant cultural sites, students gained valuable insights into Turkish traditions and history. This experience contributed to the enrichment of their overall experiences in Eskisehir.
