Goal of the Activity

The first main goal is to make Erasmus students aware of the history of the aperitif in the Triveneto. Starting from its origins in the nineteenth century up to its more modern variants.
We trying to dispel some false beliefs about the aperitif through some questions about their previous knowledge, but also texting in the end what they have learned during the presentation.
The second main goal was to teach how to prepare the original "Hugo", an aperitif mixture born in Trentino Alto Adige, thanks to a masterclass of its inventor.

Description

After having sponsored the event itself on the communication channels of the Esn section and having collected the adhesions through a google form, we sent the registered Erasmus and members the link to participate. The event took place on zoom.
In the first part of the event, the two coordinators presented the story of the aperitif using a powerpoint.
In order to involve Erasmus as much as possible, the explanation was interrupted by questions to which they answered through the Kahoot platform.
Once the presentation was over, the two coordinators answered the participants' questions.
Then Roland Gruber, inventor of Hugo, was introduced. He has re-emphasized some aspects of the story and how he invented this cocktail. When everyone was ready with the ingredients, previously communicated, Roland Gruber explained the preparation of Hugo answering the questions raised by the participants.
Since Roland Gruber had warned us not to be a good English speaker we had hired a partner in the case to act as interpreter, but she was not needed.
