Goal of the Activity
The goal of the activity was to showcase some gems of Trieste's cultural and natural landscape to international students.
Description
On Saturday September 21st we spent a day discovering the natural and cultural landscape of Trieste's surroundings. We took a one-hour walk along the Rilke Trail, named after the poet Rainer Maria Rilke, who also wrote some verses about these places. The trail connects Sistiana to Duino and offers a splendid view over the bay of Sistiana and the entire gulf of Trieste, and ends at the Castle of Duino, which visited together.
