Make unforgettable Halloween memories! Everyone will carve a pumpkin and make it their new Halloween friend 🎃 Together with our incredible pumpkins, we will watch the silent movie “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Terror” and plunge into the Halloween atmosphere 👻 We will also continue our Halloween atmosphere with a visit to the most mysterious place where some scenes of the silent movie ”Nosferatu: A Symphony of Terror” was recorded - and it's Orava Castle 🏰 We'll feel the real atmosphere of the movie, Halloween, get acquainted with the mysterious corridors of the castle, and who knows, maybe we will meet the real Dracula there 🧛
Our Halloween celebrations began with an exciting pumpkin carving session! Erasmus students got creative, carving pumpkins that were silly, spooky, or downright terrifying – the choice was entirely theirs!
The event continued with a screening of the first black-and-white horror film, Nosferatu: A Symphony of Terror. It was an unforgettable experience; after all, Halloween wouldn‘t be the same without vampires! Although the film was silent, our Erasmus students took it to the next level by adding their commentary, making it even more amusing.
However, the real highlight was yet to come! We went to the mysterious Orava Castle, which was used to film scenes from Nosferatu. Guided by our member Dia, we explored the castle‘s dark corridors and took photos with a Dracula. We finished the day with lunch at a traditional Slovak restaurant, followed by a walk along the Orava River, where we took beautiful photos of the castle in the background.
It was a true Halloween experience we’ll never forget!
