The main goal of Presentations of Nations is to give the opportunity to Erasmus students to present their home countries, their culture, history, habits, national food, share interesting facts and also to give the tips to others about all the interesting places to visit. Seeing the presentations can also encourage local students to go on Erasmus to see different cultures and places and learn new things.
The event is usually held every Tuesday, 7pm. During pandemic, students present their countries from dormitories/their apartments and we stream it on YouTube so everyone has the change to see the presentation. It usually takes about 30-40 minutes and it’s always interesting and enriching. The feedback we get is positive, during the stream people usually comment about what is presented and it seems like all the participants enjoy it. It’s a nice way how we can still be in touch and hear about other countries. In average, every week there is about 30 people watching the stream live.
