Challenge the stereotypes associated with homelessness by enabling people to experience the world from a homeless perspective.
We organized this event because we believe that erasmus students should get to know not only the best of their host country or town, but also the negative sides of it. We took them to a tour by a homeless man organised by Pragulic, which is an organisation trying to help the homeless by participatating them in these city tours.
We wanted to show that homeless people are still people like everyone else. Another main reason why we organised this activity was to show that the homeless can also be integrated back to the society. We think that Pragulic is the best example of a way, how it can be done, so we hope this activity helped to raise awareness among all participants.
