Goal of the Activity

Gathering of Erasmus at University facilities for them to enjoy and afternoon playing ping pong.

We organized a Ping Pong activity at the Pavilion of the University of Cantabria, which lasted an hour and a half.

20 minutes before starting the activity, the 3 coordinators met and asked for the material to the staff of the pavilion. We set up the nets and hung the ESN flag in a visible place.

Five minutes before the stipulated time, the first Erasmus students start to arrive. As we initially only have two tables, we ask them to group in pairs (initially 8) and we divide them between the 2 tables (4 on each). Thus, all the pairs of each table play against each other, so that everyone plays the same time and against different pairs.

Once the 4 tables are set up, we give them the freedom to play with the couples they want and even some coordinator participates with them. Several of them play "the wheel" in groups of 5 or 6 or with different rules to make the activity more fun.

10 minutes before the end of the activity, we let them know that we are close to finish and so we also tell the staff of the pavilion. We let the Erasmus finish their games and we start packing up, taking inventory of all the material and checking that it corresponds to what they initially lent us. We say goodbye to the erasmus, we pick up the tables and the flag and finally we deliver the material, giving thanks for the help and the treatment received.
