The goal of the City Tour is to show to the Erasmus students the main spots around the old town, with the most famous and beautiful monuments, churches, places of worship, and also typical meeting places.
The Tour starts in Prato della Valle, the main square of the city, one of the biggest in Europe. Then you'll see the Basilica of Sant'Antonio, where we explain his history and his funny miracles, and the statue of Gattamelata, then the Tomb of Antenore, the founder of the city. Next stop is the Palace of Bo, the main structure of the University, close to the Caffè Pedrocchi, the historical literary cafe. The city tour ends in the squares: the first is Piazza dei Frutti (specular to Piazza delle Erbe) with the explanation of the Palazzo della Ragione, the last one is Piazza dei Signori, with the missing Zodiac sign on the Clock Tower, and the story of Spritz.
