Goal of the Activity

One of the main goal of that trip  is to show the historical and natural beauties of Antalya to our Erasmus students. As ESNers of Akdeniz University, we believe that the better Erasmus students know Antalya history the more they like Antalya and the environment. The other goal of the trip is to increase environmental awareness and to travel without harming nature.

Description

Our trip started from city centre of Antalya. We went to Olympos by bus and it took 1 and half hour. First of all, we checked-in the bungalows and left our luggage at the bungalows. Then we got on the bus and went to Olympos. We entered the Olympos museum which locates near the sea after that we swum and also played beach volleyball. Later on, there is a historical castle that really close the beach. In order to reach the castle we walked approximately 15 minutes. On the top of the mountain we took group photographs. Then we came back to the bungalows for dinner. After the dinner, we got on the bus again and we went to "Yanartaş" is a geographical feature near the Olympos valley and national park in Antalya Province in southwestern Turkey. It is the site of dozens of small fires which burn constantly from vents in the rocks on the side of the mountain. We stayed there for 1 hour and watched the sky. In the end we came back to hotel. Next day, we checked-out from the bungalows and we set off to return to Antalya. However, we also visited "Phaselis" ancient city. Finally, we came back to Antalya.
