Come discover ESN! Who are we? What’s our
mission? Who are the buddies you're connecting with? Who are the people making it all happen? These are the questions we'll answer during Office Day, featuring a special session with the International Relations Office!
Upon arrival, everyone received a welcome bag and a student certificate, which will be needed for their residence permit application.
The meeting kicked off with the IRO team introducing themselves. They shared important information such as Wi-Fi passwords and details about how to register for Turkish language courses.
After the IRO’s presentation, it was time for ESN! Each Local Board and Board Support introduced themselves through presentations. Following these introductions, the volunteers gave a brief overview of what ESN is. Before
diving into the fun activities, relevant details about the residence permit process were shared, and participants were informed that the necessary documents would be available in the group chat. The presentations wrapped
up with an interactive session of Ankara101.
Once the meeting concluded, the group headed out for a tour of the Tandoğan Campus, the main campus of Ankara University. The campus boasts numerous facilities, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a gym, a library, and plenty of cafes. It’s also where the IRO is located. During the tour, every corner of the campus was explored, and the participants got a good sense of the space.
As the day came to an end, volunteers and participants enjoyed a nice dinner together.
