ESN Azerbaijan is organizing a special trip to the mud volcanoes in Gobustan District on the 6th of April, in honor of International Mud Volcano Day. Azerbaijan is home to the largest number of mud volcanoes in the world, with 350 of the 700 global volcanoes located within its borders.
This excursion will offer participants the opportunity to witness these extraordinary geological formations up close, learn about their significance, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Gobustan region. The event will include guided tours and informational sessions to enhance understanding and appreciation of this unique natural phenomenon.
