Goal of the Activity

Cultural Exchange:

EIS facilitates an environment of cultural exchange and mutual understanding. International students visit local schools to share their culture, language, and experiences, promoting diversity and global awareness among the school students.

Educational Enrichment:

EIS contributes to the enrichment of the educational experience. It integrates an international dimension into the curriculum, offering students a broader perspective of the world, enhancing their knowledge and understanding of different cultures and societies.

Language Learning:

The initiative also aims to encourage language learning.

Fostering Tolerance and Inclusion:

EIS fosters tolerance, respect, and inclusion. Exposure to diverse cultures helps students to develop a more open and accepting attitude towards diversity, reducing stereotypes, and promoting social cohesion.

Community Engagement:

International students get an opportunity to engage with the local community, enhancing their social integration and understanding of the host country’s culture and society.

Description

Erasmus in Schools (EIS) is an enriching initiative that brings international students into local schools to foster cultural exchange and global awareness. Students from diverse backgrounds share their cultures, languages, and experiences, offering local students insights into different ways of life. EIS aims to enrich the educational experience, promote international mobility, encourage language learning, and foster tolerance and inclusion. It's a platform where learning transcends classroom boundaries, facilitating a deeper understanding of our diverse world and preparing students to become informed, compassionate global citizens.

The VICO LANGUAGE DAY  is organized by French, German and English teachers. It will be a beautiful celebration of foreign languages, both those we teach here at school and the languages our students belong to, because multiculturalism is a great wealth. From 10 to 13.15 in some spaces of the school, students  from 10 to 13 years old, will come in groups and enjoy some language activities.
