The goal of this activity is to encourage students to give to people in need, by creating a surprise box with all kinds of necessities (food: canned or non-perishable, anitary products: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, hydroalcoholic gel, masks, menstrual protections, etc., small clothes items: gloves, hat, rain coat, etc.) Depending on how many boxes we collect, we will organise either a way to gather them or to distribute them directly with the international students to people in need. We organise this to promote Social Inclusion as part of the Social Inclusion week.
In the context of the Erasmus Student Networkโs Social Inclusion Days, ESN ULB Brussels has come up with an event to help the people in need, from the comfort of your very home!
Do you happen to have many things you will not use before the end of your Erasmus, or are not planning to bring back home because it will be too heavy in your luggage? Then make a box for a person in need!
What is it about? We would like to distribute boxes filled with non-perishable items to people in need and on the streets.
How does it work?
Find an empty box and fill it with non-perishable items such as:
- food: canned or non-perishable
- sanitary products: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, hydroalcoholic gel, masks, menstrual protections, etc.
- small clothes items: gloves, hat, rain coat, etc.
