The aim of this activity is to know other languages and culture.
The University's Language Centre, in collaboration with Aquilasmus- ESN L'Aquila, has been organizing Linguistic Tandem for several years. The iniziative is for all students of the University of L'aquila, The GSSi (Gran Sasso Science Institute), the Academy of Fine Arts, The Conservatory and in general to all those who are interested in this activity. The language tandems consists of meetings between two or more students of different nationalities, in which alternating their language with the language of the companion, is possible not only improve own language skills but also get closer to the other culture. This year, because of the Covid-19, the Linguistic Tandem were held online on Microsoft Teams, except last one that was in presence: International students showed to our students the artistics beauty of the city: Renzo Piano's Auditorium, the Castle, San Bernardino' Church, Duomo square and Collemaggio.
In the online meetings the rooms were: English and Italian, Spanish and Italian, French and Italian, German and Italian.
Finally, those who partecipated in this event received 2 ECTS
