Having a nice hiking trip and visiting Dresden afterwards, to have a wonderful day.
Come with us on a beautiful day trip to magical Saxony, with a hike up the Lilienstein Table Mountain, a short boat ride and a visit of the historic Dresden.
In the early morning we take the train from Potsdam to Saxony (semester ticket from the University of Potsdam is required). After arriving Bad Schandau around midday we can buy food and drinks in a supermarket and start our hiking tour to the top of the Lilienstein Mountain (1-2hours). On the top of the Lilienstein plateau we can rest and we will make a picknick while enjoying the beautiful view (of Königstein Fortress, the Elbe River and the Czech Republic). After the descent we will cross the river via ferry and go to Dresden to visit the city center. In the late evening we return to Berlin/Potsdam and we will reach Potsdam around midnight.
