Lace up your hiking boots and get ready for an adventure that will take you to the heights of nature's beauty and the depths of Cretan culture. Join us for the "Giouchtas Hike and Archanes Exploration," a day of trekking through the stunning Mount Giouchtas and immersing yourself in the charm of Archanes.
Programme:
- Meeting Point: We'll start our day at the Central Bus Station, where we will buy tickets for "ANO ARCHANES" (go + return) and board on the bus.
- Mount Giouchtas Hike: Our journey begins with a hike up Mount Giouchtas. As you ascend the mountain, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the Cretan landscape, with opportunities to pause for photos and soak in the natural beauty.
- Picnic Lunch: We'll take a break to enjoy a picnic lunch amid the serene surroundings of Mount Giouchtas. It's a perfect opportunity to refuel and relax while connecting with fellow hikers.
- Archanes Exploration: After our hike, we'll make our way to the charming village of Archanes. This traditional Cretan village is known for its picturesque streets, historic architecture, and warm hospitality. You'll have free time to explore the village, visit local shops, and savor Cretan cuisine at one of the village's traditional tavernas.

Return: In the afternoon, we'll gather and make our way back to the meeting point, reflecting on the day's adventures and the beauty of Crete.
