Goal of the Activity

Promoting a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle to the participants by showing them vegetarian recipes that involve regional ingredients.

Description

Friends of the Earth Malta together with Healthylicious by Stefania Calleja will be hosting a Sustainable Cooking Class on Wednesday 04 November from 19:00 for all ESN Members during Health and Wellbeing Week.

Say goodbye to microwave dinners and learn how to cook with fresh seasonal, local and homegrown ingredients. You will be trying delicious Vegetarian recipes that are both good for our health and also the planet.

Chef Stefania prepares delicious recipes to feature mainly local, seasonal and homegrown ingredients and those coming from close by. This is a vegetarian workshop but Stefania will be offering vegan alternatives. Its time to bring out the Gordon Ramsey from within you.

On the day we will be cooking:
– Pumpkin, Lentil & Feta Salad
– Butternut Squash Muffins w/ Tahini Glaze

Stef will prepare ingredient packs for all participants and these will need to be picked up by participants a day or 2 before the event. Further communication will be sent to you following registration.
