Halloween Potluck Dinner

The participants were asked to bring a meal with them to contribute to the potluck dinner. Many participants prepared dishes from their home countries. The activity began with some introductory sessions where everyone presented the dishes they brought with them. The participants then had dinner together, where they each took a small amount from each dish that was there. Note that in order to ensure the activity was environmentally friendly everyone was asked to bring their own plates and cutlery and single-use items were banned. We also ensured that no food was wasted by asking the participants to only bring a small amount of food. After the dinner, a game was organised that encouraged socializing with other participants.
